TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

TERMINOLOGY
The following terminology applies to these terms and conditions. Grace Thorley will be referred to as ‘GT’. The website will be referred to as ‘the Site or Services’.

 

PAYMENT
Transactions of all products (orders) are done via a secure Big Commerce site using PayPal technology for processing payments.

You do NOT need a PayPal account to check out and pay for your order - simply checkout as a Guest with PayPal during checkout process if you do not have/wish to use a PayPal account to pay for your order.

 

COLOUR
You understand and agree that GT uses commercially reasonable efforts to display the colours of Original Works of Art, Products and Printed Works accurately via the Site and Services. However, because individual computer monitors may display colours differently, GT is not responsible for the colour accuracy of any Original Works of Art, Products or Printed Works displayed on the Site or Services, and disclaims all liability in this regard.

 

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
GT reserves the right to cancel any order if GT determines, in its sole discretion, that the item is mis-priced, out of stock, discontinued, or otherwise unavailable at the price listed via the Site or Services. If GT cancels an order placed via the Site or Services, GT will send you an apologetic email confirmation of such cancellation and you will not be charged for your order.

 

DELIVERY AND SHIPPING 
All orders made within Australia are shipped through Australia Tracked Post. All International orders will be shipped also through Australia Post via either untracked or tracked shipping. Untracked or tracked shipping for International orders is determined depending on the weight of the order. Example: Small International orders can be sent via Letter Mail Postage (Economy Air) which is untracked by Australia Post whereas larger, parcel orders are automatically granted tracking from Australia Post which then can be provided to the customer.

 

Orders are usually dispatched in 1 - 4 business days (unless it is a Custom order such as Custom Letter Name Art). Orders cannot be dispatched on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as Australia Post is not open on weekends to post in GT’s region. Delivery within Australia should take between 2-7 days depending on your location but however due to the on-going impacts of Covid-19 there is significant delays, causing inaccurate delivery times. Holidays periods (example: Christmas) may also contribute to the delay of Australia Post delivering within normal time spans due to inflation of parcels/post deliveries during these busy periods. 

 

Delivery time for International customers is currently inaccurate due to the ongoing effects of Covid-19 and International orders may take some time to arrive.

 

You may experience some delays in the dispatching of your orders when/if GT experiences and endures occasions such as; new product launches resulting in a mass sell-out of products, viral social media moments and busy holiday periods. Other delays in dispatching can also include impacts of natural disaster such as floods and bushfires, sudden illness of GT, malfunctioning/delays of Australia Post sending services and periods of Covid-19 lockdowns. If the dispatching of your order is impacted significantly from such delays, an apologetic email will be sent notifying of dispatching issue and your order will be sent as soon as possible.

 

COST OF SHIPPING
Cost of shipping is determined via weight through Australia Post Shipping Services (Standard and or Express, including International). GT is classed as a Small Australian Business and cannot be provided with substantial reduced shipping prices unlike other massive businesses and franchises. GT aims to provide an affordable, reliable shipping service as much as possible and apologises that a less expensive price cannot be provided to customers of GT’s Small Australian Business. GT shipping costs to customers are less than what GT actually has to pay to Australian Post Shipping Provider. GT covers extras shipping costs so customers can be provided with a more affordable shipping cost and more pleasant order experience.

 

Example: Orders such as (but not limited to) one or more Large GT Candle/s fall into a heavier weight class of shipping and can cost GT from $15 to $20.05 + to ship Nationally via Australia Post but however GT only charges the customer a maximum of $15 for heavy weight class orders so the customer can experience a more affordable, less expensive and pleasant shopping experience.

 

GT aims to become a much larger, successful business to achieve much more affordable shipping experiences for customers and hopes her covering of shipping costs currently can help customers continue to have a pleasant shopping experience through her small business.
