Store Policies - Terms and Conditions

 

Payment and Processing:

  • The customer is responsible for providing the correct shipping address and order details.
  • Orders cannot be altered or changed once placed.
  • Seperate orders placed to the same address (or by the same customer), cannot be combined and shipped together in one package and or amalgamated into one shipping cost.

Fulfilment of orders can vary between 1-4 business days. In the circumstances of (but not limited to) an unusual influx of orders due to a new release or Grace Thorley becoming suddenly ill, can however cause fulfilment of orders to take longer. If such circumstances arise, you will be promptly notified of such delay and orders can take a further 1-7 business days to process.

Transactions of all orders and products are processed via secure, professional PayPal technology.

You do NOT need a PayPal account to check out. PayPal offers the option of checking out simply with your credit/eftpos card and or you can check out using your own PayPal account.

 

Order Cancellations and Refunds:

Grace Thorley reserves the right to cancel any order if Grace Thorley determines; reasons for such as (but not limited to) an item being mis-priced, out of stock, discontinued or otherwise unavailable. If an order is cancelled due to such reasons or others, an apologetic email confirmation will be sent and you will not be charged for your order that has been cancelled.

Grace Thorley does not accept cancellations of orders (or give refunds) to circumstances as such (but not limited to) a customer no longer wanting the order they placed, accidentally purchasing the wrong item or no longer liking what products they received and or purchased.

Refunding is an option that can be given to customers who;

  • Unfortunately have received a damaged product which accidentally occurred during transit and the shipping process.
  • A product that was ordered and suddenly became out of stock/unavailable but was not updated promptly enough due to a website processing glitch
  • An order that was misplaced and unable to be relocated again by the delivery or shipping companies.

 Exchanges are also not accepted.

 

Delivery and Shipping:

Please note, shipping of orders does not include order fulfilment processing time.

Dispatching of orders can only occur from Monday to Friday (weekdays/business days). Any orders placed on a Friday afternoon or on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) will not be dispatched until the coming Monday; this is due to Grace Thorley’s Local Australia Post Store/s not being open or available for business on a weekend.

Prices of shipping and delivery is unfortunately not solely dictated by Grace Thorley; prices are determined by the cost Australia Post charges Grace Thorley’s small business and other reasons such us (but not limited to) the cost of postage materials packaging companies charge Grace Thorley. 

Delivery time-frames cannot always be accurate through Australia Post from circumstances such as (but not limited to) busy seasonal time-periods, natural disasters, incidents occurring within the Australia Post business and pandemics (such as Covid-19).

Orders within Australia:

  • All orders made within Australia (and shipped to an Australian address) are shipped and tracked through Australia Standard Parcel Post.
  • Australia Post delivery estimations and time frames are NOT always accurate due to such circumstances (as listed above) that can arise.

International Orders:

  • All International orders are also dispatched and shipped via Australia Post - either by tracked or untracked mail services.
  • Untracked shipping services may be a circumstance that can occur for international customers and orders; this can be determined by (but not limited to) Australia Post parcel weight categories, sizing and even the destination of the order. Australia Post can at times (but not limited to) dispatch smaller weighted and or sized orders through their more affordable services such as Economy Air (being which is their untracked postage/mailing service).
  • Australia Post can also (but not limited to) dispatch international parcels/orders through their tracked parcel/mailing services if the parcel falls into a heavier and or varying weight, size and or destination category. In this circumstance, international customers will be provided with a tracking code for their delivery of their order.
  • Australia Post delivery estimations and time frames are NOT always accurate due to such circumstances (as listed above) that can arise.

If your order is re-directed back to Grace Thorley due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any re-shipment costs and fees. 

 

Plantable Eco-Friendly Card Policies for International Customers:

Any cards containing seeds cannot be sold to customers or buyers from outside of Australia as they contain seeds native to Australia - resulting to being held by customs and quarantine in other countries.

If you have purchased these products and are a customer from not within Australia, any plantable (or seed containing products) will be cancelled in your order; you will be refunded for those products that cannot be sent and only products that do not contain seeds (not plantable) will be dispatched in your order.

If you are an international customer (from outside of Australia) and your order only contains plantable/seed products, your full order will be cancelled and refunded (including the shipping cost) as your order will no longer qualify for dispatching or production. 

 

Viewing and Display:

Before purchasing a product and or placing an order, you understand that colour display and accurate viewing can be altered from screen viewing to in-person viewing. Different digital devices and qualities can alter the display of colours and the photography of the products sold on Grace Thorley’s website.
